Early Intervention Programs are funded and regulated by the New York State Department of Health and by the New York City Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Alcoholism Services.

Early Intervention Home Based Services
AHRC’s home and community based staff offer high quality Early Intervention Services to children and families in their own homes, child care centers, and home child care settings.  Children aged birth to three years old, who are either suspected of having a delay and require an evaluation, or those who have been diagnosed with a delay and require therapeutic services, maybe eligible for the following:

Early Intervention Developmental Group Services
Children with developmental delays between the ages of birth and three years of age can receive a comprehensive package of educational and therapeutic services in an AHRC Early Intervention Program at our center based program in the Bronx. Children are enrolled in sessions as deemed appropriate by the IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan), during which time services are provided.  Parents or caretakers are encouraged to accompany their children to sessions and to actively participate in all therapies. All of our services are characterized by:

• HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED INTERVENTION
