ASSISTANT DIRECTOR -
RECREATION SUPERVISOR |
| Responsibilities |
Manage administrative
tasks and paperwork for recreation programs including petty cash,
supplies, and worker payroll; manage all aspects of hourly respite
and day habilitation waivers for assigned programs; ensure
that each assigned program meets contracted levels of service;
draft and maintain quarterly reports; monitor and ensure
that all staff files are complete; monitor and ensure
compliance with all state and federal regulatory agencies and AHRC
policies and procedures; hire, train, supervise, and evaluate
part-time employees in recreation programs; assist with staff
recruitment; regularly evaluate all assigned recreation programs,
providing on-site supervision to staff. |

| Position |
REGISTERED NURSE |
| Responsibilities |
Nurses provide for the health and safety of each individual
served, as well as, contribute valuable input into
interdisciplinary plans. Nurses monitor continual health
status, review annual physicals and make suggestions for
optimizing health care delivery. They counsel, lead support
groups and workshops, and conduct staff training and patient
education programs. Nurses also provide basic first aid,
supervise the administration of medications, perform annual TB
screenings and maintain OSHA required infection control standards. |

Opportunities in a variety of settings: |
Preschools, Developmental evaluation services, Elementary school,
Adult day programs, Day programs for individuals with TBI and
Substance Abuse problems, Residences, Sleep-away Camps,
Out-Patient Medical Clinics, Home Care Services, Specialized
Nursing Homes. |

Specific Qualifications |
Licensed and
currently registered by the New York State Department of
Education as a Registered Professional Nurse. |
