Internship Descriptions

All Home Care Interns will be required to:
	Attend AHRC's OSHA training
	Have medical clearance
	Be fingerprinted
	Have state clearance

Internship:

SOCIAL WORK INTERNS

Interns Will:

Work with developmentally delayed individuals in achieving identified goals; Conduct assessments, identify, and address needs; Help the individuals to acquire the skills necessary for self regulation, improved family and social functioning, dealing with frustration, increasing independence, and functioning effectively in the community; Help family members develop routines, learn effective strategies for discipline, and learn appropriate responses to challenging behaviors; Contact and work collaboratively with other programs on achieving goals; Maintain case notes; Fulfill agency documentation requirements.
