We offer home health care assistance through our licensed affiliate, AHRC Home Care Services Inc.
Home Health Care is available to people with developmental disabilities of all ages and to people without disabilities from all five boroughs of New York City. Services are provided in the home.
AHRC Home Care Services, Inc., (an affiliate of AHRC New York City,) is a licensed home care services agency, (LHCSA) providing services throughout the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau County.
Care Services
We believe that the best place to be is in the comfort and security of your own home. We offer a range of home health care services to meet the needs of eligible persons with and without disabilities, including:
- Home Health Aides
- Personal Care Aides / Companions
- Nursing
- Physical, occupational and speech therapies
- Respiratory therapy
- Social work services
All of our caregivers have been carefully selected to provide you with the assistance and care that you need in the comfort of your own home.
Meeting Your Needs at Home
Our private aides are trained, skilled and experienced. Our team of Staffing Coordinators are available 7 days a week to respond to your needs. We know our staff, and this allows us to personally place the right caregiver with the right patient.
Our staff will provide you with support that you need while maintaining your independence. Staff will assist you with:
- Light housekeeping & household tasks
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation
- Shopping and errands
- Laundry
- Personal care
- Scheduling medical appointments
- Escorting you to appointments
- Organizing your mail
