Compliance Training

All agents of AHRC NYC are required to abide by AHRC NYC’s corporate compliance program and are required to participate in AHRC NYC’s compliance training. Compliance training materials for staff and contractors are available.

About Reporting Possible Compliance Violations

It is AHRC NYC policy, as expressed in Section 4.01: Corporate Compliance Policy, that any employee, contracted employee, or agent who witnesses, learns of, or is asked to participate in potentially non-compliant activities must report the matter immediately to his/her supervisor or to the vice president of Corporate Compliance.

False Claims Act

It is the policy of AHRC NYC to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse in federal healthcare programs. This Policy explains the Federal False Claims Act (31 U.S.C. §§ 3729 – 3733), the Federal Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act (31 USC §§3801-3812), the New York State False Claims Act (State Finance Law §§187-194) and other New York State laws concerning false statements or claims and employee protections against retaliation. This policy also sets forth the procedures we have put into place to prevent any violations of Federal or New York State laws regarding fraud or abuse in its health care programs.
