The Canarsie Courier has published an article about New York State Senator Andrew Gounardes‘s recent visit to AHRC New York City’s Brooklyn Blue Feather Elelmentary School, to meet with teachers, students, and parents.
During the visit, they discussed the growing demand for services for people with I/DD and the long-standing lack of a cost-of-living adjustment for the staff who provide vital support to people with disabilities from organizations across the state. We thank the senator for his visit and for his support of people with disabilities.
