Day Services Programs

Day Habilitation

Day Habilitation Services

Day Habilitation is offered in a variety of environments to best support a person’s preferences. This can include structured on-site programming, community-based programming, or a combination of the two. Each person is offered an array of opportunities and experiences based on their choices, interests, and talents. All the services and supports are designed to enrich people’s lives as they build relationships and participate in their local communities.

Traumatic Brain Injury Services

TBI Services

AHRC NYC provides an array of community-based and medically-based rehabilitation services for people with Traumatic Brain Injuries, (TBI). A person may receive services for as long as needed, either post-discharge from a formal rehabilitation setting or as a complement to those services. In supervised community settings, AHRC NYC professionals help people work towards their rehabilitation goals. People are provided with a full day of community-based skill development, a variety of educational, cultural, and volunteer opportunities. Psychological services are also available.
