On October 3rd, AHRC New York City invites you to walk with us.
We are hosting our very first community walk at Rockefeller Park in Battery Park City. This walk brings together people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, friends, staff, and neighbors — because we are all one community.
Moving Together for Change is about showing up for one another.
Every step you take and every dollar you give helps support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages across New York City to thrive.
When you walk, donate or sponsor, you’re strengthening services for individuals and families, including:
- Educational and community programs
- Job training and employment support
- Camps and year-round recreation programs
- Clinical services for physical and mental wellbeing
- Full-time housing with dedicated staff support
