amny.com has published an article about a joint effort between the Department of Social Services (DSS) and AHRC New York City called Partnership for Inclusive Internships, which provides internship opportunities to people with physical disabilities, mental illness, and autism, tailoring to specific needs and skills.
Made possible through a grant from the Taft Foundation, the partnership has already placed 36 interns throughout the DSS system in the first six months.
