AM NY: The Inaugural Manhattan Power List honored the most influential men and women in Manhattan

As reported by amNY, AHRC New York City’s CEO, Marco Damiani, was recognized as part of the Manhattan Power List during an event that celebrated extraordinary men and women from a broad spectrum of the business and nonprofit world who were recognized for their commitment, impact and influence in the Manhattan community.

This honor is really for the 5,000 amazing staff that work at AHRC in New York City. Every day we work hard to get people with disabilities and lives that they choose. And we’ve gotten way better over the years. But society still isn’t welcoming enough, not accepting enough,” said Marco Damiani, Chief Executive Officer, AHRC NYC. “We need to work really hard with an amazing group like this tonight to be sure that disability becomes almost invisible.”
