to Help Others Pursue Higher Education

Meghan Mattei at CSIThe Spring 2022 edition of Autism Spectrum News features an article about the benefits of post-secondary education beyond employment and social integration.  Diagnosed with autism at age two-and-a-half, Meghan Mattei is in her senior year at AHRC New York City’s Melissa Riggio Higher Education Program (MRHEP) at the College of Staten Island. For her senior project, Mattei is focusing on colleges providing more opportunities for students with disabilities, if they wish, to be fully matriculated so they can earn a degree.
