Take a break at our day camps during school vacation weeks!

School Holiday Respite is for school children with developmental disabilities, between the ages of 5 and 14.

Applicants must have a diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability.

Applicants must live at home with a family member and must be eligible for Medicaid waiver services through the Home and Community Based waiver.

For students attending twelve month school programs, we offer School Holiday Respite programs during the 5 weeks of the school year when school is not in session:

  • 2 weeks in August
  • 1 week in December
  • 1 week in February
  • 1 week in April

How does it work?

Children/students are picked up at their homes each the morning, and transported to the site where they are provided with fun activities such as arts and crafts, music, sports, and day trips, providing them with opportunities to make friends in a fun and safe environment.  The children/students are returned to their homes in the afternoon.
