Hands-on training to prepare people for employment
This training program is available to New York City residents who are out of school and not currently employed, ages 16-24, with or without a developmental disability.
Our 14-week training program prepares people for a career in environmental services through classroom training, followed by a 6-week hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Preparing for and Finding Work
AHRC New York City offers training programs in specific fields. The training programs begin with work-readiness and a focus on resume building, time management, and teamwork, and interview preparation, followed by an externship which will provide hands-on experience in a chosen field. At the end of the program, we will assist individuals in finding a job.
Learn Professional Job Skills
